The Opportunity
A family foundation based outside Philadelphia with ties to Southern California engaged Synchronicity Collective to develop and refine a California-focused grantmaking strategy centered on foster youth and nature conservation.
The Process
Through a series of strategic conversations, we worked closely with the foundation to understand the legacy and impact it sought to create in Southern California. Leveraging our relationships across the philanthropic sector, we identified organizations whose work closely aligned with the foundation's priorities and values.
The Result
Our partnership with Foxwynd helped secure a significant multi-year grant to Kids in the Spotlight (KITS), a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that empowers foster youth to reclaim their stories through filmmaking, build self-confidence and agency, and access pathways to healing and well-being.
